Yes, we thought too. The launch however is coupled with a relaunch of the website, which took more time than expected. We encountered unexpected problems with our network servers that need to be solved first.

The launch will be delayed until after the new site is up and runing. If everything works fine, this will be next week.

No, this is still the old server. The new one is not yet online.

I'm really eager for the release of HN2. I've prepared thousands of my midi files for importing in it as I plan to use it as the center of my song composing work.

I asked a month ago (when I purchased HN1) to join the beta test but didn't have a response. That's unfortunate because I could have the importing work already done and I still have nothing.

Will it be released soon?.

Yes, the delay is a mess. If however we launched HN2 on the old servers, they would likely break down. It is inevitable to get the new ones up and tested before sending out the announcement.

We currently give the beta to everyone who is eligible for a free upgrade. If you purchased HN a month ago, you should send your login name or customer number to support at cognitone com. Andre will certainly provide you with the current beta download. Your email probably got stuck in a spam trap.

Thank you supertonic. I sent my request from the support section in Cognitone's site and received a confirmation message in my mail. But no answer followed.

Well, the import section in HN2 is so good that I have no additional work to do, just start composing right away.
What a beautiful piece of software!.

I am not that ambitious. I only check weekly.

I can't imagine what's going on.
Did you have to rewrite the whole site with a webshop from scratch, and also the OS for the servers? Shocked

If it's a "media hack" to make the demand higher, it's a good strategy.
I remember a similar situation before the start of Synfire.

No, it's worn out hardware that needed to be replaced. We set up new servers entirely from scratch and upgraded to the latest operating system, mailserver, databases and everything. This was actually planned for summer, but a recent power outage caused extra hardware issues, so we could no longer wait. Bad luck.

checking here on a regular basis too, not had a beta to play with so seems like 4ever. I know how these things can develop into complex problems but hope its not too much longer.
